BRANDING
OUR MISSION
Since its formation in 1936, Lake Oswego Hunts' mission has been to host Equestrian Events for many disciplines of riding, to promote Equine Education, and above all preserve this amazing landmark.
EQUESTRIAN EVENTS
Every year Lake Oswego Hunt hosts many equestrian as well as non-equestrian events in it's historic facility, including the popular Hop at the Hunt event each spring.
Please see our calendar for a list of upcoming events:
EDUCATION
Lake Oswego Hunt has many educational opportunities, from basic horsemanship lessons to training for events. Clinics add additional opportunity for our riders and community to further their equine education.
Our facility also plays host to several local equestrian teams and organizations, such as LO Oregon High School Equestrian Team and the Interscholastic Equestrian Association for students riders in grades 6-12.
HISTORIC PRESERVATION
Members and boarders take an active role in the care and upkeep of our historic facility. Great care is taken when making any changes, so that it is in keeping with our historic preservation mandate.
Keep an eye out for our Lake Oswego Hunt History walks coming soon.

Our Legacy
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the Lake Oswego Hunt has been serving our community as a meeting place and event venue for over 75 years.
The barn features the first open truss arena in the Northwest, and is still considered one of the largest of its kind in the western United States today.
Throughout the years diverse riding disciplines have flourished at LOH. Hunter, jumper, dressage, eventing and western pleasure have all been spotlighted at events which draw our community together.
