HISTORIC EQUESTRIAN CENTER
We at Lake Oswego Hunt thank you so very much for your generous donations during the Oregon wildfire emergency. At the peak, we housed over 60 horses in addition to our full barn of 42 horses. We had horses in every corner of the property, we had evacuees in campers and trailers, we had chickens, ducks, a donkey, and a pig named Sally Sue. We had evacuees sleeping in their cars until people from the community brought camper trailers for them. Community volunteers organized food, clothing, and supplies, delivered daily. Our staff and volunteers were amazing, keeping horses and people safe and healthy. This was truly an all-hands-on-deck effort, and our community came through like champions. Your donations were a critical part of that effort.
Many families in Oregon, California, and Washington face devastating circumstances, and our hearts break for the horrific loss of life and property experienced by so many. We've done everything we can to help those in need, and we are overwhelmed with your generosity in helping us help others.
With immense gratitude, the entire LOH family.
