Tracey Moneta

USDF Silver Medalist

The Lake Oswego Hunt Equestrian Center is delighted to announce that Tracey Moneta is now LOH's resident dressage trainer effective immediately. We welcome Tracey and her clients to our community.

Tracey Moneta Tracey Moneta is a dedicated dressage professional having earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals on horses she has trained. She was also the recent recipient of the Chris Doering Perpetual Trophy at Dressage at Devonwood with her mare Zoelie. In addition, her students and horses have garnered numerous championships and awards in open and breed competitions.

Tracey strives to bring out the best in each horse/rider combination with thoughtful, patient and correct training. She maintains a "can do" attitude no matter the skill level of the rider or breed of horse.

Southern California is where she began her riding career, competing on the Hunter/Jumper circuit under the tutelage of Bob McDonald, husband of Dressage star Debbie McDonald. After attending Scripps College in Claremont, California, and earning her BA in Fine Art, Tracey switched to Dressage on a Thoroughbred purchased from Bob named No Regrets and she hasn't looked back.

A firm believer in continuing to further her Dressage knowledge, Tracey regularly participates with area clinicians and has ridden with Steffen Peters, Sandy Howard, the late Jill Hassler-Scoop, the late Dietrich von Hopffgarten, Jeremy Steinberg and Norbert Gieling. She also encourages her students to participate by auditing or riding to gain new perspectives.
