Beginner Camp
Come learn about horses! In this beginning camp we will learn to
groom, tack up, and ride in an English riding saddle. Initially
campers will start on a longe-line or with a leader, but our goal is
to have riders ride walk/trot independently by the end of camp.
Riders will ride daily, and have ground lessons in horse handling,
horse knowledge, and equestrian etiquette. We will have a horse “showdeo”
for parents on the final day.
Please fill out a
Registration Form to enroll.
Jumping Camp
RIDERS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY THE RIDING SCHOOL DIRECTOR
Learn to jump on horseback! Riders must be able to tack up
independently and comfortably ride walk, trot, canter. Riders will
ride daily, and also learn supportive care for both the equine and
human athlete. Horsemanship lessons will include walking jump
courses, jump spacing, equine nutrition, and how to prepare
themselves and their horse for a show. We will have a horse “showdeo”
for parents on the final day.
