Riding School Instructors

Heather Tyrrell, Executive Director

Heather is a CHA certified Riding Instructor with over six years of experience teaching not only able-bodied riders but also special needs students. Her other qualifications include a Bachelor or Science degree from Oregon State University in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Equine Science. Heather is a NARHA Registered Instructor, American Association for Horsemanship Safety certified Instructor as well as First Aid and CPR certifications.

Alica Mers

Alica has been horse-crazy her whole life! She has ridden everything from rodeo to eventing. We love Alicia’s warmth and passion for teaching!

Shayna Waldman

Shayna is a quiet, patient instructor with a sincerity that rings through in each lesson. Shayna is also our fabulous Vaulting Coach!

Hannah Loebingier

Hannah learned to ride at LOH, and now rides and shows nationally with Jeff and Shelly Campf. She is a wonderful young teacher, with a great smile and a creative ability to find the best way to encourage you to learn the next step.
